Bremen is surely one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. It is situated on the river Weser in the North where the German language is spoken in its purest form.
Bremen is a city with approximately 600,000 inhabitants mixing a unique blend of Hanseatic tradition and modern development, which also possesses the friendly and familiar charm of a medium size town, where one can feel at ease and make friends easily.
Bremen, lying close to the sea, with its historically beautiful architecture, many parks, lively pubs and cafes offers a great variety of leisure and free-time activities. The town hall and Roland Statue (a sign of the free citizens and their commerce) are part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. There are many museums, such as the Überseemuseum or the Universum Science Centre. Additionally, Bremen offers a broad cultural pallet in the form of theatre, plays, operas, concerts, dancing and performances.
As a university town with students from all corners of the world, Bremen has an international flair and the varied and exciting nightlife one would expect.
Bremen's closeness to the sea also makes it an ideal base for excursions to the North Sea islands, to Hamburg, Lubeck or the Luneberg Moors, and to round off your weekend program, Holland and Denmark are just around the corner.
Learning a new language also means learning about a different culture and way of life. That's why our German language school in Bremen organizes a wide range of activities to allow you to obtain deeper insight into the German way of life and give you a chance to get to know Bremen and the surrounding countryside.
All German Intensive Courses are complimented by an interesting leisure program that includes films, theatre, museums, exhibitions and city tours.
Language, culture and lifestyle contribute to one unit. Therefore, we organize a wide variety of cultural activities during the intensive and summer courses, such as:

Although the main reason for your stay in Bremen is to learn German, we understand that the accommodation is a very important part of your German Course. This is why we pay great attention to the accommodation.
We have a great number of landlords and landladies (families, students or single people) who have been supplying private lodgings for years – you will enjoy your stay with them.
During your German Course in Bremen, you can choose between the following accommodation options:
Shared flat (self-catering) You live with Germans, sometimes families, sometimes flat sharers, often single people who have a spare room. You have your own room and share kitchen and bathroom with them. Students cater for themselves, either by contributing to the budget or by shopping for themselves. This very popular form of communal living here in Germany, offers you an excellent opportunity to practice your German while getting to know interesting new people.
German Families (breakfast or half board) Families are carefully selected to offer students the most suitable environment. Have two meals a day with a host family and enjoy the opportunity to experience and practice the German language even more. This option should be booked well in advance of travelling and is an option especially for younger and not so experienced students. They offer single or double room accommodation and half board (breakfast and lunch or dinner).
